Quick answer
At around four weeks, Pathfields will send you a questionnaire through SystmOne. It keeps the clinical team up to date on how you are getting on and provides the information needed for safe ongoing prescribing.
The questionnaire does not come from this website. The portal is here to help you understand your treatment and find reliable answers.
What we need to know
- Whether you have taken each dose and which strength you are using.
- Your progress, appetite and how treatment is affecting you.
- Any nausea, vomiting, constipation, diarrhoea, reflux or abdominal pain.
- Whether you are managing to eat, drink and stay nourished.
- Any new health problems or medicine changes.
- Your questions or anything you are worried about.
What happens after you reply?
A clinician reviews your answers. If all is well, prescribing can continue and the next dose can be considered where appropriate. If you report a problem, a nurse or doctor may arrange a telephone or face-to-face review, depending on what is needed.
A dose increase is not automatic. The safest next step depends on your progress, side effects and how well you are tolerating the current dose.
Do not use the questionnaire for urgent symptoms
Do not wait for the next questionnaire if you are becoming unwell. Use NHS 111 for urgent medical advice and call 999 for a life-threatening emergency. Stop Mounjaro and seek urgent medical help for severe persistent stomach pain, with or without nausea and vomiting.
